From this material, Sample Logic spent numerous hours carefully manipulating and morphing the sounds to forge a sample library that will no doubt be your secret weapon. Adagio Violas Vol. 1 contain three main groups of Violas. Full Ensemble Violas (7), Divisi Violas (3) and Solo Viola (1). All groups have been extensively sampled and recorded in a signature church environment with a hand-selected group of great viola players from the San Francisco Bay Area. All groups were sampled with three different microphone positions (close, far, mixed) and we deployed the same unique sampling techniques we applied to all our Adagio products, including round robin legato and the ability to connect legato effortlessly with other articulations like loure (floating notes) and dynamic bowings (expressive notes). We also recorded new specific viola articulations (ex. 3 different types of sordino spiccato, deep-sampled sordino loure and sordino bowings etc).

This library is a detailed emulation of a Fender Precision Bass Guitar`72 release. We recorded 12 dynamic layers for each fret of each string with different playing techniques and articulations.

Mandolin Strummer is the follow-up to our Mandolin Solo library. The Mandolin Strummer contains over 11.500 samples spread across 13 different chord types and 18 common rhythm types. All the chords and rhythms can seamlessly be blended using our x-legato technology. The X-legato system allows you to combine any chord and rhythm at any given time giving you an infinite amount of combinations. In addition the Mandolin Strummer is a round-robin based strum library, so even if you trigger the same chord/rhythm multiple times – you will get natural subtle variation. The Mandolin Strummer also contains a unique patch with motion picture inspired strums.
