Platform: 3dsMax 2011 + obj Render: Corona

Procedural material of the LED screen.
There are two versions of the material in the archive - fully procedural for Displace and procedural with one raster map for Normal.

The LEDs glow through Self-Illumination.
There are 3 options - Your text, Your image or Off.
The text option works via Corona Distance.
You need to write your text using Create/Shapes/Text and choose the PixelFont font.
PixelFont is a font created specifically for this material. It is archived and must be pre-installed on your computer. It is this font that will perfectly match the grid of LEDs and provide the correct result. The text size should be specified 100 mm, provided that you have not edited the LED cell size and it remains by default 10 mm. After you have created the text, you need to apply the Extrude modifier to it with a value that is convenient for you. The three-dimensional text should intersect the surface to which the LED screen material is applied - this will ensure the operation of Corona Distance.
After you have specified the text object in Corona Distance, you can hide the text object in any way convenient for you, so that it is not displayed when rendering. You can see the location of the Corona Distance in the visual instruction "instruction_light".
Attention! Don't use Create/Geometry/textPlus - 3DSMax throws an error.
The file "led_corona_2011.max" includes the created sample text.
The image option works via a regular Bitmap - just load your image into the appropriate slot. You can see the slot location in the visual instruction "instruction_light".
To get the most correct result, it is advisable to make your image pixel - the archive includes an example of the source image "sample.png" and its pixel copy "sample_pixel.png". As a result, the pixel should be equal to the size of the LED cell. In this case, each LED will glow in the same color without unwanted separations.
All maps and textures, materials and objects have logical names for ease of use.

The author does not give his consent to the use of this material in his models uploaded to the stocks, including 3ddd / 3dsky.

There is no cell geometry in the archive: You purchase a materials. In the files .max simple Planes, with materials superimposed on them. The material is configured in Corona 3.2

For Corona Render, it is recommended to install a version not lower than 1.5, since the Glossiness of materials is configured with PBR in mind.
