Galipo is a display typeface inspired by Andalusian society and culture, in its present, but emphasiSing its history and its past. Galipo seeks to represent the struggle of the people, the union, and the brotherhood of a society marked by its historical marginaliSation with respect to the rest of the country of Spain. Considered a land of vagrants, thugs, and partiers, Galipo comes to reflect the toughest, fighter, and hardworking side of the Andalusian peoples. For the forgotten, for the marginalized, for the judged and mistreated. Revaluing what we were, what we are, and what we will be.
