Drummer Nir Z is one of the most sought after drummers in the industry and mix engineer Jeff Juliano is a studio legend. Jason Mraz, Blake Shelton, Genesis, PVRIS, and Steven Lee Olson are just a few of the names on their resumes.

These two made history when they got together in NYC to record John Mayer’s debut album, Room for Squares. As you might know, this record went on to become one of the highest selling records of all time, and for good reason. The drum tones on this record would go on to become some of the most desired drum tones in the genre for years to come.

So naturally, we’ve spared no expense in getting these two icons back together again to bring you the most comprehensive sample library in our catalog. These sounds just keep coming at you. Scores and scores of kick, snare, tom, hat and cymbal options all packed inside this one library. If you purchase the deluxe version of this library, it’s unlikely you’ll need any other acoustic drum sample library for a long time.

Don’t worry though. If it feels like too much to chew on, we’ve broken it up into three smaller, genre-specific collections. Each sample collection features 3 genre specific, multi-velocity snare and kick drums, and an entire line of cymbals and toms. These drum tones are honest, pronounced, and ready for your next studio or writing session.

This is the first collection in our series ICONS, and we couldn’t ask for a stronger start.

Each drum is sampled in great detail with 10 velocity levels. The two hardest levels have round robin options.

Round Robin Presets for Steven Slate’s Trigger 2. Each preset brings up Dry, Overheads, and both Room options.
