Rooted heavily in the UK's rich and talented seam of electronic producers, Grime is all about capturing the raw energy of the streets and releasing it in sometimes unexpected and interesting rhythms drawing on beat influences from Drum n Bass, Breakbeats, Hip Hop and Garage, fusing it all together and throwing away the old rule book. Musically the rawness is also there and ranges from the simple dance music synth line to a more cinematic, brooding darkness or even a slamming Jungle inspired bassline.

Often simpler is better to allow room for the MCs to work and this is the route we have taken with this collection of gutter scraping sounds, beats, basslines and riffs. It has been kept simple but still made so it slams.

In this 1.22 GB collection the tempos range from 100, 130 and 140 BPM, allowing producers to capture two sides of the Grime coin. 100 BPM is more about the darker cinematic side of things, whilst 140 flips with a nod to the the 2-Step and Garage styles. None of this is set in stone so try using the loops at different tempos and there's still inspiration to be had.

This set of dramatic sounds contains a mixed selection of beats, basslines, musical riffs synth hits, vocal stabs and FX and also a set of multi-sample sounds for you to go off the beaten track and embellish the riffs as you see fit.
