In this class, I'm walking you through 10 different zendoodle designs that I have previously drawn in my Sketchbook during the month of April 2020.
It is my intention to offer a space of organic, no pressure, creative expression for everyone who would like to take a mental break from everything that is going on, whether you have 5 minutes or 50.
In case you don't like starting with a blank page, I'm sharing a handout of 10 designs that you can fill with zendoodles, zentangles, or lineart, or you can print them out and use them as coloring pages. You can make the designs as simple or intricate as your time allows. The handout is available as a PDF for printing and a Procreate file for those who want to use it on their iPads. The videos are not scripted; I am walking you through what I'm doing while I am doing it, so this is more of a show-and-tell than a pure teaching class. As a bonus, I'm adding a video flip-through of my sketchbook, as well as a demonstration of the zendoodle techniques I'll be using to complete the drawings. The focus of this class is on getting out of our heads, into our bodies, and putting something to paper. This class is intended for beginners, and I am not sharing any advanced zentangle techniques.
