This was me, but years ago!

It took me a year of research before I felt confident enough to present myself in the world as an independent animator. You don’t have to wait that long because I am offering you a blueprint to start building your path into motion design as a freelancer!

• How to establish successful relationships with clients that are based on mutual trust

When I decided to become a freelancer I had no idea how to do it. Unfortunately, the schools I attended didn’t teach the skills of an independent animator. The goal was to get a contract at a studio and just keep going that path. This became impossible for me after I got sick with a neurological disorder. A regular 9-5 schedule didn’t fit my needs, and I knew that studios were not interested in someone who needs a two-hour break after an hour of work. Freelancing allowed me to continue and keep advancing my career as an animator. It also helped me to create a schedule that worked for my personal needs and professional goals.  

This class is for people who are just starting up their career in motion design or considering moving from studio work. The class will equip you with the essential tools so you will not only survive but also thrive in the ever-changing world of freelancing. Even though the program is tailored for people with unique needs, other members of the community might find helpful tips. My goal here is to provide you with the compass that will navigate you through the waves of doubts and questions about freelancing that most people experience and ask.
