We’ll start by getting familiar with the basic lines we can create in Photoshop. We’ll then get into some principle techniques for the beginning stages of creating gesture and scribble drawings that allow us to get our ideas down on paper without getting too caught up in minute details.

Next, we’ll work on some methods of line work like contour lines that will help us define the shapes of our drawing. We’ll also learn how to use hatching to give our drawing tonal value. Finally, we’ll take a look at how we can combine our techniques to produce a composition.

By the end of this Photoshop training, you’ll have a better understanding of how to create your own digital drawing from beginning to end.
