.MOGRT files (Motion Graphic Template files) are a way for you to create text animation presets for Premiere Pro and After Effects. But, how does it work? First, you need to build some text animation in Adobe After Effects, then you link this into the Essential Graphics panel in AE, export from AE then import into Premiere Pro and make any desired changes that you like.
But, what's the point of this? Building .MOGRT's is a great way of streamlining your video editing process. Make the title animation once then reuse edit after edit. This will save you time moving forward, especially if you dynamic link all of your motion graphics between Premiere and After Effects. But, what's the point of After Effects? Can't you build these in Premiere? After Effects is more powerful and create more natural looking animations, so using AE to build your title animation gives you the complexity of AE with the ease of Premiere.
